About Blake Koch
Since 2009, Blake Koch has gained a large fan base while competing in the NASCAR XFINITY and Sprint Cup Series. With only 20 amateur races under his belt, Blake Koch was recruited to be a primary driver for the Richard Childress Driver Development team in the NASCAR K&N West series in 2009. As he finished his rookie season eighth in the point standings, Koch began to catch a lot of attention from NASCAR veterans. In 2011, after only three years behind the wheel of a stock car, Koch went full-time into the NASCAR XFINITY Series.
LeafFilter™ first sponsored Blake Koch for a few Sprint Cup races in 2014. The following year, LeafFilter™ became the primary sponsor of Blake Koch for the full 2015 NASCAR XFINITY Series. Driver Blake Koch joined Kaulig Racing™ as the primary driver of the No. 11 LeafFilter™ Gutter Protection Chevrolet Camaro for the 2016 season. Kaulig Racing is a full-time American stock car racing team, owned by President and Owner of LeafFilter™ Gutter Protection, Matt Kaulig. Setting the team up for success, Kaulig Racing™ joined forced with Richard Childress Racing in 2016 to create a technical alliance, including the use of ECR engines.
In the team’s first year of competition in the NASCAR XFINITY Series, Kaulig Racing with driver Blake Koch finished seventh overall in the 2016 NASCAR XFINITY Series championship standings. Koch led a total of 16 laps and recorded five top-10 finishes. The No. 11 LeafFilter Gutter Protection Chevy Camaro and driver Blake Koch return to the NASCAR XFINITY Series in 2017 in search of a championship.
